Tod is the main character in the Disney animated film “The Fox and the Hound.” He is a young fox who is raised by a kind-hearted woman named Big Mama. Throughout the film, Tod becomes friends with a hound puppy named Copper, and the two form a close bond despite their differences. However, as they grow older, Tod and Copper are forced to confront the reality that their friendship may not be able to survive because of the enmity that exists between their respective species. He was voiced by acting legend Mickey Rooney.
