Big Game Safari Shooting Gallery | Disneyland

Last Updated on: March 26th, 2024

The Big Game Safari Shooting Gallery was a former attraction at Disneyland in California. It operated from 1962 to 1982 and was located in Frontierland.

The Big Game Safari Shooting Gallery was an interactive shooting gallery where guests could test their aim and skill with shooting targets. It featured a variety of animatronic animal targets that would move or make sounds when hit by a guest’s shot.

The attraction provided guests with replica rifles that shot beams of light, allowing them to “shoot” at the targets. The goal was to aim and hit as many targets as possible to score points.

The Big Game Safari Shooting Gallery offered a fun and challenging experience for guests, allowing them to engage in a competitive shooting game with friends or family members.

However, the attraction closed in 1982 to make way for other experiences and attractions within Disneyland.
