Fantasyland Autopia | Disneyland

Last Updated on: June 18th, 2024

Fantasyland Autopia was a classic attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It was a miniature version of the popular Tomorrowland Autopia attraction, but with a fantasy theme.

The attraction was located in the Fantasyland area of the park, near the Matterhorn Bobsleds and the Storybook Land Canal Boats. It featured small, single-passenger cars that were designed to look like whimsical animals, such as rabbits, frogs, and snails. The cars traveled on a winding track through a garden landscape, complete with topiary and miniature buildings.

Fantasyland Autopia operated from 1959 to 1999, when it was closed to make way for the newly redesigned Tomorrowland. The track and cars were removed, and the area was transformed into Pixie Hollow, a meet-and-greet area for Disney fairies.

While Fantasyland Autopia is no longer a part of the Disneyland experience, it remains a beloved part of the park’s history and a fond memory for many longtime visitors.
