The story of Disneyland’s PeopleMover is a sad one. The iconic slow ride had a long and pleasurable ride from 1967 to 1995 and then was unceremoniously closed in favor of Rocket Rods – an ill-conceived ride that lasted little more than 2 years.
Some of the PeopleMover tracks in Disneyland have been re-purposed, but much of it remains out in the open as a reminder of what once was.
