The South Seas Dining Room was one of the original restaurants at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, which opened in 1971.
Located in the Great Ceremonial House, the restaurant offered a lavish dining experience with a Polynesian-inspired menu.
The ambiance was designed to evoke the exotic charm of the South Pacific, featuring tropical décor and serene surroundings. Diners enjoyed specialties such as seafood and island-themed dishes, often accompanied by entertainment that included live music and hula dancers, capturing the spirit of the resort’s theme.
