“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is the highly anticipated next chapter in the storied “Planet of the Apes” franchise, scheduled for release on May 10, 2024. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, Josh Friedman, and Patrick Aison, all of whom have experience crafting expansive sci-fi universes.
