“Race to Witch Mountain” is a 2009 science fiction adventure film directed by Andy Fickman. It is a modern reimagining of the 1975 film “Escape to Witch Mountain” and its sequel “Return from Witch Mountain.” The movie stars Dwayne Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig, and Carla Gugino.

The story follows two alien siblings, Sara and Seth, who possess special powers and are on a mission to save their planet. They crash-land on Earth and encounter a taxi driver and ex-con named Jack Bruno, played by Dwayne Johnson. Jack becomes their reluctant protector as they try to reach Witch Mountain, a mysterious location where they hope to find a way home.

As they journey together, they are pursued by both government agents and extraterrestrial bounty hunters who want to capture the siblings. Jack, Sara, and Seth must overcome various obstacles and rely on their unique abilities to outsmart their pursuers and fulfill their mission.
