The story follows the adventures of two scientists, Dr. Drake Parker (Mark Curry) and his wife, Dr. Ali Parker (Dawnn Lewis). One day, their two mischievous children, twins Dee Dee (Tahj Mowry) and Dexter (Raquel Lee), accidentally activate the machine. As a result, they become part of a time-traveling experiment gone wrong.

The kids discover that whenever they get angry, they start to age backward. This leads to hilarious and challenging situations as they try to hide their newfound condition from their parents and figure out a way to reverse the effects of the experiment.
