Danyel Mendoza has been promoted to Vice President of Programming Strategy & Content Planning for Disney Branded Networks, overseeing Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD. This role expands her responsibilities across both linear and nonlinear platforms, aiming to unify strategy teams and work closely with Direct-to-Consumer Programming teams to transition content to Disney+ and Hulu.

 

Mendoza, with 27 years at Disney, has evolved from senior manager to director, previously directing multiplatform programming strategies. Under her leadership, initiatives like the short-form strategy for YouTube have seen significant growth.
