Pixar Play Zone at Disney World’s Contemporary Resort

While news came out late last year that the remaining Walt Disney World Resort childcare centers would be closing early this year, we now get news that the Contemporary Resort will actually be adding a new Pixar-themed Children’s experience.

The new kids-only Pixar Play Zone experience at the Contemporary will open April 13, 2018, will be available to kids aged 4-12 (must be toilet-trained) and will cost $65 per child. Here is a quick description of what kids can expect (source):

“Each night, kids, ages 4-12, will be transported to a world full of excitement and adventure with their favorite characters from Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story” and “The Incredibles”!

It all kicks off with Space Ranger Training where kids will learn how to identify and battle enemies of the Star Command. Then, Woody and Jessie will show them the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup. During the Piston Cup Challenge, youngsters will be able to build a race car, then race it on the Radiator Springs Racetrack. And finally, kids will learn some sweet dance moves during the Incredible Dance Party with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible. What else is on the menu? Games, dinner and dessert, of course!”

The experience will run nightly with doors opening for registration at 5pm and the event running from 6-10:30pm. According to Disney, availability is limited and reservations are strongly recommended, by calling 407-824- KIDS (5437).

Update 4/13/18: Disney announced today that Pixar Play Zone is officially open for business at the Contemporary Resort.
