Disney+ Witnesses Record-Breaking Weekend with 4.6 Million Views of Taylor Swift’s Concert Film
In an unprecedented achievement, ‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)’ has shattered records by becoming the most-watched music film on Disney+ to date. The film attracted an impressive 4.6 million viewers in just three days, accumulating a staggering 16.2 million hours watched over its opening weekend.
Disney+ offered an exclusive viewing experience of the 3.5-hour concert film, which includes a full setlist plus songs previously performed exclusively at live events. Fans of the 14-time GRAMMY® Award-winning artist had the privilege of enjoying performances of hits like ‘cardigan’ along with four unique acoustic tracks: ‘Maroon’, ‘Death by a Thousand Cuts’, ‘You Are in Love’, and ‘I Can See You.’
This monumental event adds to Taylor Swift’s list of accomplishments with the concert film grossing nearly $262 million globally, further establishing Disney+ as a key venue for major entertainment releases. The platform is also home to several other significant music films including Elton John’s ‘Farewell from Dodger Stadium’, Beyoncé’s ‘Black Is King’, The Beatles’ ‘Get Back’, and Swift’s own ‘folklore: the long pond studio sessions’.
