The inaugural season, which premiered on October 13, 2023, centers on five high school students who inadvertently unleash supernatural forces upon their town. As they delve deeper, they uncover dark secrets from their parents’ pasts, all linked to the mysterious death of a teenager named Harold Biddle three decades earlier. The main cast includes Zack Morris as Isaiah, Isa Briones as Margot, Miles McKenna as James, Ana Yi Puig as Isabella, Will Price as Lucas, Rachael Harris as Nora, and Justin Long as Nathan Bratt.

Following the success of the first season, the series was renewed for a second season, titled “Goosebumps: The Vanishing,” set to premiere on January 10, 2025. This new chapter introduces a fresh storyline and cast, featuring David Schwimmer as Anthony, a divorced father whose twins uncover a profound mystery involving the disappearance of four teenagers in 1994.

“Goosebumps” has been praised for its engaging narrative, compelling visuals, and a darker tone that appeals to both new viewers and long-time fans of the franchise. The series skillfully balances horror and humor, making it a standout addition to the Disney+ and Hulu streaming libraries.
