“Queenie” is an upcoming drama series on Hulu, set to premiere on June 7, 2024. The show is based on the bestselling novel by Candice Carty-Williams and follows the life of Queenie Jenkins, a 25-year-old Jamaican British woman navigating life in South London. After a messy breakup with her long-term boyfriend, Queenie seeks comfort in all the wrong places and begins to confront her past to rebuild her life.

The series stars Dionne Brown as Queenie, with a supporting cast that includes Samuel Adewunmi, Bellah, Sally Phillips, Jon Pointing, and Tilly Keeper. The show is created and executive produced by Candice Carty-Williams, with Further South Productions and Lionsgate TV involved in the production. It will also air on Channel 4 in the UK and Disney+ in other territories​.
