Who is Biggs Darklighter?
Biggs Darklighter is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise. He is a human male and first appeared in the 1977 film “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.” He is a friend of Luke Skywalker from their days growing up on Tatooine, and later becomes a Rebel Alliance pilot. He is known for his loyalty to Luke, his skill as a pilot, and his sense of duty to the Rebel Alliance. He is portrayed by actor Garrick Hagon in the film. He has a short but significant role as he sacrificed himself to destroy the Death Star, which was a turning point for Luke’s character.
