Who is Bren Derlin?

Bren Derlin is a character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in the 1980 film “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.” Bren Derlin is a Rebel Alliance officer stationed on the planet Hoth who is responsible for the defense of the Rebel base there. He is depicted as a competent and reliable soldier who is tasked with overseeing the evacuation of the base after it is discovered by the Empire. Bren Derlin is played by actor John Ratzenberger.
