Who is Garindan?
Garindan is a minor character in the Star Wars universe, who appears in the original Star Wars film, A New Hope. He is a Kubaz spy, known for his tracking abilities and information-gathering skills.
In the film, Garindan is seen on the planet Tatooine, where he is hired by the Galactic Empire to track down the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, who have important information about the Rebel Alliance. Garindan is able to locate the droids in the city of Mos Eisley and informs the Imperial Stormtroopers, who then begin their search for the droids.
Garindan’s distinctive appearance includes a long snout, large eyes, and a hooded cloak. He speaks in a unique language, which is translated by a protocol droid.
