IG-11 is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise who appears in the live-action television series “The Mandalorian.” IG-11 is a bounty hunter droid that is programmed to kill its targets. In the show, IG-11 is initially hired by the main protagonist, a Mandalorian bounty hunter known only as “the Mandalorian,” to help him capture a target, but the droid is later reprogrammed by the Mandalorian to serve a different purpose. IG-11 is known for its deadly efficiency and advanced combat abilities, as well as its dry and literal sense of humor. The character is voiced by actor Taika Waititi, who also directed the final episode of the first season of “The Mandalorian.”
