Who is Jannah?
Jannah is a character in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, specifically in the 2019 film “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker.” She is portrayed by actress Naomi Ackie.
Jannah is a former stormtrooper who deserted the First Order and joined the Resistance. She was part of a group of deserters who formed their own community on the planet Kef Bir. Jannah becomes a key ally to the heroes of the Resistance in their fight against the First Order.
In the film, Jannah is introduced as a skilled warrior and an expert in riding the orbaks, a species of large, horse-like creatures. She assists Finn and Poe Dameron in their mission to locate a hidden Sith Wayfinder and later fights alongside the Resistance in the final battle against the Sith Eternal fleet.
