Who is Jawa?
Jawas are a species of small, cloaked creatures in the Star Wars universe. They are typically found on desert planets, such as Tatooine, and are known for their scavenging skills and expertise in dealing with droids and other mechanical devices.
In the original Star Wars film, A New Hope, Jawas are seen in the opening scenes, scavenging droids in the deserts of Tatooine. They capture R2-D2 and C-3PO, two important characters in the Star Wars universe, and attempt to sell them to Owen Lars, a local moisture farmer. Later in the film, Luke Skywalker and his companions encounter a group of hostile Jawas, who attack them with their blasters.
Jawas are known for their distinctive appearance, which includes a hooded robe that covers their entire body and glowing eyes that can be seen through their hoods. They also speak in a unique language, known as “Jawaese,” which is a combination of high-pitched chattering and guttural grunts.
