Who is Unkar Plutt?

Unkar Plutt is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He is a male Crolute who serves as a junk dealer on the planet Jakku. Unkar Plutt first appears in the film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” where he attempts to purchase the droid BB-8 from the film’s protagonist, Rey. He is portrayed by actor Simon Pegg.
