Who is Darling?
In Disney’s 1955 animated film “Lady and the Tramp,” Darling is the human female owner of Lady, the titular female Cocker Spaniel. She is a kind and loving person who cares deeply for her pet. She is also the wife of Jim Dear, the human male protagonist, and together they raise Lady as their own child. Darling is not a main character in the movie but her love and care is important for the plot and the development of the main character, Lady.
