Who is Duchess?
Duchess is a character from the Disney animated film “The Aristocats.” She is the mother of three kittens, Marie, Toulouse, and Berlioz. Duchess is the titular character of the film, a white and elegant cat living a comfortable life in the home of a retired opera singer in Paris, Madame Adelaide Bonfamille, until she and her kittens are kidnapped by the butler Edgar who plans to inherit Madame’s fortune by getting rid of them. Duchess and her kittens are eventually saved by a street cat named Thomas O’Malley and his friends, and they return to their home, and Edgar is arrested. She was voiced by actress Eva Gabor.
