Scales and Arpeggios disney song music“Scales and Arpeggios” is a song from the 1970 Disney animated film “The Aristocats“. The song is performed by the characters of Duchess, Toulouse, Berlioz, and Marie, who are all cats, and is sung to the tune of a piano exercise, as they demonstrate their musical talents to their owner, Madame Adelaide Bonfamille. The song consists of lyrics that describe the different scales and arpeggios used in music, and is used in the film to highlight the cats’ refined and cultured background. “Scales and Arpeggios” was composed by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, who also wrote the other songs for the film, and is known for its lively and catchy melody.
