In the Disney animated film “Mulan,” First Ancestor Fa, also known as Fa Zhou, is the father of the main character, Mulan. He is a respected and honorable Chinese soldier who is proud of his family’s military tradition. He is also Mulan’s role model and the reason why she wants to prove herself as a warrior. He is voiced by actor Soon-Tek Oh. He is a traditionalist and has a strong sense of duty and responsibility, but also a loving and supportive father. He’s a supportive character that help Mulan in her journey and serves as a representation of the Chinese culture in the movie.
