Who is Frank?

Frank is a minor but memorable character in The Rescuers Down Under, the 1990 sequel to Disney’s 1977 animated film The Rescuers.

Frank is an enthusiastic yet bumbling frill-necked lizard, a native Australian species, who becomes one of the allies of the young boy Cody. Frank is one of several animals held captive by the film’s villain, the poacher Percival C. McLeach.

Throughout the movie, Frank is portrayed as jittery and anxious, often acting nervous and high-strung, which provides a comedic contrast to the more composed or straightforward characters.
