Who is Gordon Bombay?

Gordon Bombay is a fictional character in the “The Mighty Ducks” franchise. He is a former hockey player turned coach, who starts out as a successful but cocky lawyer. After a drunk-driving incident, Gordon is sentenced to community service coaching a youth hockey team, and over the course of the series, he grows to love the kids and becomes a dedicated coach and mentor. Through his journey, Gordon learns the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and selflessness, and becomes a better person because of it. The character was played by Emilio Estevez.
