Who is Kerchak?
Kerchak is the alpha male of the gorilla troop in Disney’s 1999 animated film “Tarzan.” He serves as the main antagonist in the beginning of the film, as he is skeptical of Tarzan and distrustful of humans. However, by the end of the film, he accepts Tarzan as a member of the gorilla family and sacrifices himself to save Tarzan and the gorillas.
