Who is Maid Marian?

Maid Marian is a character in the 1973 Disney animated film “Robin Hood.” She is the love interest of the film’s protagonist, Robin Hood, and the future wife of King Richard the Lionheart.

Maid Marian is portrayed as a kind-hearted and beautiful woman, who is admired by all of the inhabitants of Nottingham. Despite her privileged position, Maid Marian is shown to be a compassionate and fair-minded individual, who is deeply concerned about the plight of the poor and oppressed.
