Who is Michael?
Michael is one of the four anthropomorphic macaws who serve as hosts in Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, a classic Disney attraction located in multiple Disney parks worldwide.
Alongside José, Pierre, and Fritz, Michael represents one of the distinct cultural identities of the hosts, bringing charm and humor to the tropical, animatronic show. With his green feathers and Irish brogue, Michael embodies the spirit of Ireland, often using witty remarks and playful banter to delight guests as he introduces various musical numbers performed by the Tiki Room’s ensemble of singing birds, flowers, and tikis.
Michael is voiced by Fulton Burley, an accomplished Irish-Canadian actor and singer. Burley’s natural Irish accent made him a perfect fit for the role, adding authenticity and charm to Michael’s character.
