Who is Stabbington Brothers?

The Stabbington Brothers are a pair of burly, menacing twin criminals who serve as minor antagonists in Disney’s 2010 animated film Tangled.

Known for their brute strength, the brothers initially team up with Flynn Rider (Eugene Fitzherbert) to steal the royal crown from the kingdom of Corona. However, Flynn betrays them, escaping with the crown for himself, which sets the Stabbington Brothers on a path of revenge.

Their pursuit of Flynn leads them into a partnership with Mother Gothel, the film’s primary antagonist. She manipulates the brothers by using their grudge against Flynn, promising them the crown in exchange for their assistance in capturing Rapunzel. Their plans ultimately fail, and they are apprehended by the royal guards, reinforcing their role as bumbling but dangerous villains.

The characters are brought to life by the voice performances of Ron Perlman, who provides their menacing voices. Known for his distinctive gravelly tone, Perlman captures the brutish and intimidating nature of the brothers, even with their limited dialogue.
