Who is Stinky Pete the Prospector?

Stinky Pete the Prospector is a memorable antagonist from Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story 2.

As a vintage pull-string doll, he is part of the iconic “Woody’s Roundup” gang, alongside Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye. Stinky Pete’s character is depicted as the wise but cantankerous prospector who initially appears as a helpful ally to Woody and Jessie. However, his true nature as the film’s villain is revealed as the story progresses.

Having spent decades sealed in his original packaging, Stinky Pete harbors deep resentment toward being overlooked by children in favor of other toys.
