Who is Tarzan?

Tarzan is a Disney character who is the protagonist of the 1999 animated film “Tarzan“. He is a human who was raised by gorillas in the African jungle and must navigate the challenges of his dual nature as he grows into adulthood. The film is based on the classic novel “Tarzan of the Apes” by Edgar Rice Burroughs and tells the story of Tarzan’s journey from an outsider in the jungle to a respected member of his adopted gorilla family, and eventually, to a human being who must choose between two worlds. The role of Tarzan was voiced by actor Tony Goldwyn in the film. Tarzan has since become a beloved character in the Disney canon and has appeared in several other Disney productions, including sequels, television shows, and theme park attractions.
