The Sultan is a character from the Disney animated film “Aladdin.” He is the ruler of the fictional Middle Eastern kingdom of Agrabah, and the father of Princess Jasmine. The Sultan is a kind and fair ruler, but is often manipulated by his advisor Jafar. He is worried about finding a suitable husband for his daughter, Princess Jasmine and wants her to marry a prince and secure an alliance. He is a bit of a bumbler and is easily manipulated by Jafar, but is ultimately a good-hearted and well-intentioned ruler.
