Who is Tod?

Tod is one of the central characters in Disney’s animated classic The Fox and the Hound (1981). He is a red fox who is orphaned as a kit and taken in by a kind widow named Tweed.

Tod forms an unlikely friendship with Copper, a hound dog, despite their natural instincts as predator and prey. The story follows their deep bond as they grow up, face societal pressures, and navigate challenges that test their friendship.
