Avatar Flight of Passage is a thrilling 3D simulator ride located in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The ride takes guests on an immersive journey through the world of Pandora, inspired by the James Cameron film “Avatar.”

During the ride, guests board a simulated banshee, which is a type of dragon-like creature that is used for transportation in the film. The ride then takes guests on a thrilling flight through Pandora, with stunning views of the planet’s flora and fauna, and encounters with the Na’vi, the indigenous people of Pandora.

The ride is known for its cutting-edge technology, including a motion simulator that simulates the sensation of flight, along with 3D visuals, special effects, and even smells. The ride is also designed to be interactive, with guests able to control their banshee’s movements using hand controls.

Avatar Flight of Passage is widely considered to be one of the best attractions at Walt Disney World, and often has long wait times. FastPass+ reservations are available for guests staying at select Walt Disney World resorts, and guests can also use a virtual queue system called Disney Genie+ to reserve a spot in line for the ride.
