Block & Hans | Disney World

Block & Hans is a delightful outdoor beer kiosk located at EPCOT, one of the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The kiosk takes its name from two well-known figures in Disney history: “Block” refers to Joe Fowler, who was an Admiral in the United States Navy and played a significant role in the construction and development of Disneyland and Walt Disney World; and “Hans” refers to Hans Reinhardt, another naval officer who served as the ship’s commander in the Disney film “The Black Hole.”

As part of EPCOT’s World Showcase, Block & Hans offers guests a selection of craft beers from various regions and countries, both domestic and international. The kiosk features a rotating menu of draft beers, including a diverse array of flavors and styles to suit different palates.

The laid-back and casual setting of Block & Hans makes it an excellent spot for guests to relax, enjoy a cold beverage, and take in the scenic views of EPCOT’s World Showcase. The kiosk’s location often allows visitors to find a peaceful spot to sit and sip their drinks while exploring the pavilions representing different countries and cultures.

Block & Hans has become a favorite destination for beer enthusiasts and guests looking to try unique and interesting brews during their visit to EPCOT. It’s a perfect place to take a break from the park’s attractions and immerse oneself in the festive and multicultural atmosphere of World Showcase.

I am founder and editor of DisneyNews.us. My passion for all things Disney goes pretty far back to my first trip to Walt Disney World in the mid-80's. I have since returned to the magical place more than 20 times. I started this site when I came to the realization that I spent a significant portion of my day reading articles about Disney and watching Disney content with my 8-year old, so it made sense that I would start sharing some of what I read and see and building a little community around it. Other interests include 80's nostalgia, vintage toys, video games, LEGO, Star Wars and tech gadgets. Other site isDMR.
