Teddi Barra’s Swingin’ Arcade, located in Disneyland’s Bear Country, opened in March 1972 and closed in April 2003. Situated near the exit to Splash Mountain, it offered a variety of pay-to-play games with a backwoods theme.
Despite its unique offerings, the arcade struggled with popularity due to its location and competition with the larger Starcade in Tomorrowland. It was ultimately replaced by Pooh Corner. The arcade’s name comes from Teddi Barra, an animatronic bear from the Country Bear Jamboree, inspired by silent film actress Theda Bara.
