“The Disney Gallery” was a gallery and exhibition space located in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square. It operated from 1987 to 2007 and then reopened in a different location within the park in 2009.

The Disney Gallery showcased a variety of artwork and exhibits that celebrated the rich history and creative legacy of Disney. It featured original concept art, sculptures, models, and other pieces that provided insights into the development and production of Disney films, attractions, and characters.

Guests had the opportunity to explore the gallery at their own pace, admire the artwork, and learn more about the artistic process behind Disney’s creations. The exhibits often highlighted the work of Disney Imagineers, animators, and other artists who contributed to the magic of Disney.

Throughout its years of operation, The Disney Gallery hosted a number of special exhibits and exclusive merchandise, allowing guests to take home a piece of Disney art or collectibles.

I have since returned to the magical place more than 20 times. I started this site when I came to the realization that I spent a significant portion of my day reading articles about Disney and watching Disney content with my 8-year old, so it made sense that I would start sharing some of what I read and see and building a little community around it. Other interests include 80's nostalgia, vintage toys, video games, LEGO, Star Wars and tech gadgets. Other site isDMR.
