The show is based on the bestselling Eerie Elementary book series, reimagined in a high-school setting where strange mysteries and chilling secrets haunt the halls.

The project is being co-written by David H. Steinberg and Keetgi Kogan. Early reports describe Eerie Prep as a young adult drama that will blend the intrigue of prep-school life with supernatural twists, making it a natural fit for Disney+’s growing lineup of YA content.
