After breaking box office records over Memorial Day weekend, the film amassed over $341.7 million in its opening weekend and more than $1.024 billion worldwide.

This live-action remake retells the heartwarming story of Lilo, a spirited Hawaiian girl, and her mischievous alien friend, Stitch.

The story follows Lilo, a lonely but strong-willed girl in Hawaii, who adopts what she thinks is a dog—but discovers he’s a genetic experiment on the run.

Together, Lilo and Stitch dodge galactic bounty hunters and learn that ‘ohana means family—nobody gets left behind or forgotten.

Starring must-watch child star Maia Kealoha as Lilo, with Chris Sanders returning as the voice of Stitch.

This film not only surpassed all expectations—it became the first Disney live-action remake of 2025 to cross $1 BILLION globally.
