Mama Melrose’s in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now closed. What’s next?

Its the end of an era as Mama Melroses Ristorante Italiano has officially closed its doors at Disneys Hollywood Studios.

The closure comes as part of the larger plan to transform the Grand Avenue area into a Monsters Inc themed land, a story weve covered in previous weeks.

With Stage 1 Company Store set for demolition and MuppetVision 3D on its way out, the changes in this corner of the park are starting to take shape.

Rumors are swirling that the space will be occupied by Harryhausen’s- a restaurant that played a key role in Monsters Inc.
