On April 8, America will witness a mesmerizing celestial event: a total solar eclipse, the last of its kind in the U.S. until 2044.

In an unparalleled collaboration, ABC News and National Geographic present “Eclipse Across America,” a live special celebrating this rare occurrence. Streaming from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT across various platforms including ABC, National Geographic channels, Disney+, Hulu, and more, the special will feature live reporting from 10 North American cities in the eclipse’s path of totality.

Anchored by David Muir and Linsey Davis in Burlington, Vermont, the program will also spotlight Nat Geo talents like Mariana van Zeller and Cristina Mittermeier, who will share insights on safely observing and photographing the eclipse, alongside scientific explanations of the phenomenon.

With contributions from across the continent, including a mass wedding in Arkansas and live checks from iconic locations like Niagara Falls, “Eclipse Across America” promises an engaging and educational viewing experience for audiences everywhere, bringing the awe of this natural spectacle to screens large and small.
