Recess  Description

Recess (One Saturday Morning Show)Recess is an animated television series that premiered on the Disney Channel in 1997 and ran until 2002. The show follows a group of six fourth-graders, TJ Detweiler, Vince LaSalle, Ashley Spinelli, Gretchen Grundler, Mikey Blumberg, and Gus Griswald, as they navigate life at Third Street Elementary School. The show focuses on themes of friendship, schoolyard politics, and the challenges of growing up, and features a mix of humor, drama, and social commentary. Recess was created by Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere and was produced by Disney Television Animation.
