Series Description:
“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” is a vibrant revival of the beloved animated sitcom “The Proud Family,” which originally aired from 2001 to 2005. This newly reimagined series, available on Disney+, brings back the original voice cast, including Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, and Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, along with other memorable characters from the original show. It also introduces some new faces, notably Keke Palmer in the role of Maya.
Like its predecessor, “Louder and Prouder” takes us into the day-to-day life of Penny Proud, a smart and confident teenager navigating her way through the ups and downs of adolescence, all while surrounded by her loud and loving family. The series retains the original’s sense of humor and heart, and continues to provide a unique and humorous window into the dynamics of a bustling modern family.
