Series Description:
Disney’s “The Rocketeer” is a modern revival of the 1991 film, which was itself based on the comic book hero created by Dave Stevens. The series, targeted primarily towards kids, follows the adventures of a young girl named Kit Secord who discovers that she is the next in line to become The Rocketeer, a jet-pack wearing hero. Kit receives a surprise package on her birthday revealing the jet pack, setting her destiny to become the newest airborne crusader of justice.
The series blends action, adventure, and family-friendly storytelling, focusing on themes of heroism, bravery, and the importance of community. Kit, equipped with her cool new gear and secret identity, takes to the skies to protect her town and its inhabitants from various threats, all while navigating the challenges of being a young girl with a great responsibility. The show is designed to inspire a new generation with its positive messages and exciting aerial adventures.
