Who is Denahi?

Denahi is a character from Disney’s animated film Brother Bear. He is the middle brother among three siblings, with Kenai as the youngest and Sitka as the eldest.

In the story, Denahi plays a pivotal role, serving as both a brother and, ultimately, an antagonist as he seeks to avenge what he believes to be the death of Kenai by a bear. Throughout the film, Denahi’s journey reflects themes of family, loss, and forgiveness, especially as he grapples with the cycle of anger and revenge.

Following the death of their eldest brother Sitka, Denahi becomes increasingly protective and suspicious, particularly after Kenai is transformed into a bear. Denahi does not recognize Kenai in his bear form and unknowingly pursues him, driven by grief and the desire for retribution.
