Who is Fillmore?

Fillmore is a laid-back and free-spirited character from Pixar’s Cars film series, known for his hippie attitude and love for all things natural.

A Volkswagen Type 2 microbus decorated in groovy, colorful patterns, Fillmore embodies a 1960s counter-culture vibe with peace symbols, flowers, and psychedelic art painted across his body. His character is a nod to the era of peace and love, promoting eco-friendly ideas and a strong preference for organic fuel.

In Cars, Fillmore is one of the residents of Radiator Springs, a small town off the beaten path of Route 66, where he runs an organic fuel station. His mission is to encourage alternative energy sources, though he’s often met with skepticism, particularly from Sarge, the patriotic military jeep who often playfully bickers with him over his ideals.

Originally, Fillmore was voiced by George Carlin, the legendary comedian known for his witty and sharp social commentary.
