Who is Hades?

Hades is a character in the Disney animated film “Hercules“. He is the god of the underworld and the main antagonist in the film.

Hades is depicted as being cunning, manipulative, and power-hungry, and is determined to take over Mount Olympus and become the ruler of the gods. Despite his evil intentions, Hades is also portrayed as being humorous and charismatic, and he provides much of the film’s comedic relief.

Throughout the film, he tries to thwart Hercules’ efforts to become a true hero, but ultimately, Hercules overcomes his challenges and defeats Hades, saving Mount Olympus and becoming a true hero. He was voiced by actor James Woods.
