Hopper is a character in the Disney/Pixar film “A Bug’s Life“. He is the main antagonist of the film, a grasshopper who leads a group of insects that terrorize the ant colony for food. Hopper is voiced by actor Kevin Spacey in the film. The character is depicted as a cruel and ruthless leader, with a mean streak and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Throughout the film, Hopper’s actions lead to conflict with the film’s hero, Flik, and the other ants.
