Who is Lewis?
Lewis is the main protagonist in Disney’s animated film Meet the Robinsons (2007).
An ambitious and inventive 12-year-old, Lewis is an orphan with a keen interest in science and a talent for creating innovative gadgets. His primary goal is to find a family, but his determination to learn about his past leads him to invent a memory scanner. The invention is meant to help him remember his biological mother, whom he hopes to reconnect with. However, things take an unexpected turn when a mysterious boy named Wilbur Robinson whisks him away to the future.
In the future, Lewis meets the eccentric and endearing Robinson family. He learns valuable lessons about perseverance, letting go of the past, and embracing the future. As the plot unfolds, Lewis discovers his connection to the Robinsons and his destiny as a great inventor.
The character of Lewis was voiced by two actors. Daniel Hansen provided the voice for the initial recordings, but due to production changes, Jordan Fry took over for most of the final film.
